Vinyl Is My Zen is a small, independent site run by one collector in Austin, Texas. I keep data collection to the minimum it takes to run the site and answer your messages. No ad networks, no data brokers, no selling your information — ever.
Privacy
Analytics
I use Google Analytics 4 to understand which finds and reviews land — page views, rough location, device type, all anonymized. It only loads after you accept analytics cookies; decline and no analytics data is collected. You can change your mind anytime with the Cookies button in the footer, which also clears the analytics cookies on the spot.
The contact form
When you send a message, the name, email and note you type are passed to Formspree, which delivers it to my inbox. I use it to reply — nothing else. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to keep out spam; that check is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Cookies
Two categories: necessary (always on, keeps the site working) and analytics (opt-in, the Google Analytics cookies described above). Manage your choice anytime via the Cookies button in the footer.
Third parties & links
The collection is synced from Discogs, and the site links out to places like Discogs, Instagram and YouTube. Those services have their own privacy policies — this one only covers Vinyl Is My Zen.
Your choices
Withdraw analytics consent whenever you like through the Cookies button. Want the message you sent me deleted? Email hello@vinylismyzen.com and it's gone.

Reviews, grades, pressing notes and prices here are my honest, best-effort opinion as a collector — not professional appraisals or guarantees. Records vary copy to copy and prices move; do your own homework before you buy or sell on the strength of a page.

Service descriptions are informational. Every job starts with an honest diagnosis, nothing done is irreversible, and I'll tell you when a record isn't worth the spend. Anything on the site is a starting point, not a binding quote — we agree on the work before it begins.
